Joshua Youdovin is a Senior Actuary at MCIC Vermont, a reciprocal risk retention group. He has worked there for more than 6 years, with a primary focus on pricing and data analytics for a group of leading academic medical centers. . Prior to joining MCIC, Joshua's career has included:
Ratemaking with the New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board
Insurance research at Conning, with a focus on medical professional liability and workers' comp, and
Reinsurance pricing, reserving and product strategy at Swiss Re, St. Paul Re, Gerling Global and Constitution Re.
He is currently serving as Past President of Casualty Actuaries of the Southeast, where he has served on the board since 2021. In other volunteer roles with the CAS, Joshua has helped plan RPM and CLRS meetings, graded actuarial exams, and played saxophone with the CAS Centennial Orchestra.
He currently lives in Atlanta, and in his spare time he sings in two choruses and thoroughly enjoys the local music scene.
