Eduard Alpin serves as Chief Actuary at Resilience, a next gen company that merges insurance and cybersecurity services into one offering and helps its clients assess and transfer their risk, prevent cyberattacks from happening, and minimize the impact of incidents. Prior to joining Resilience, Eduard served as Director of Cyber Solutions at Verisk. Eduard has led the development and filing of the ISO Cyber Rating Plan as well as launched the Cyber Data Exchange, a first of its kind global data sharing platform. Prior to Verisk, Eduard worked in AIG’s Enterprise Risk Management department focusing on capital allocation and exposure management for their Personal Lines division. Eduard started his actuarial career at Zurich Insurance Group and worked there as a pricing actuary focusing on specialty lines products. He developed pricing models, filed rating plans, and conducted profitability reviews for a number of lines including Cyber, D&O, E&O, Crime, and A&H. Eduard graduated with a BA degree in Actuarial Science from Macaulay Honors at CUNY Baruch and has been a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society since 2016.
