Amber Rohde, FCAS, is AVP & Actuary and Head of Actuarial & Advanced Analytics for Catastrophe Risk Management at Travelers. Amber has been in the P&C insurance industry since 2004 with experience worldwide. She joined Travelers in 2005, where she has held a variety of roles across multiple locations within her company.
Amber is passionate about diversity and inclusion both within her company as well as externally. She is a founding Board member of NAWA (Network of Actuarial Women and Allies) and the Non-Profit’s first President. Amber is also an active volunteer for the Casualty Actuarial Society and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2022.
Amber is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and has a Bachelors of Science in Business degree with majors in Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance as well as a minor in Mathematics.
