Sandy Lowe, FCAS, is a property and casualty actuary from Chicago. Sandy is currently the Actuary Manager of the Complex States State Tactics team at Liberty Mutual overseeing profitability for Personal Auto and Home in select states. In her many years in the industry, she has had the opportunity to manage the implementation of new products, manage profitable growth in numerous Auto, Home and Specialty books, and mentor and develop women in the workplace.
Sandy has a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Applied Statistics from Purdue University.
Sandy is a co-founder and Board Member of the Network of Actuarial Women and Allies (NAWA) and was elected to be President of the org starting in 2024. She is passionate about increasing the representation of women actuaries and making the actuarial profession more equitable for all. She has held various volunteer roles with the CAS and was elected to the CAS Board of Directors in 2023.
